"I was born into this trade, watching my dad customize cars in the 70’s. After college I came to work for the family business in 1986. I learned each phase of the business from the top collision experts in the Bay Area. After five years of estimating and assisting my dad in running the business, I took over managing it in 1994. I have been lucky enough to work with my parents for over 30 years. I am a graduate of Leadership Sunnyvale and a past California Auto Body Association board member. In addition to coaching by younger brother in Sunnyvale Southern Baseball, I have enjoyed coaching two of my three girls in Sunnyvale Girl’s Softball."

"I met Jerry at just 18 years old. We worked together side-by-side starting Kuykendall’s with nothing more than a dream. Besides being a mom of two and a grandmother of five, I’ve always been committed to giving back to my community. A Sunnyvale Rotarian since 1996, I have also served on the board of Sunnyvale Community Services along with the Sunnyvale Historical Society. One of my proudest moments was receiving an award from the “Adopt-A-Military Mom for Mother’s Day” organization, for ten years of continued support. Above all, I am thankful for the ability to live and work in the city I love."

“After I graduated from high school, all I wanted to do was work on cars. When Marie and I moved to Sunnyvale from Fresno, California, we knew we were home. We raised our boys immersed in sports and I coached baseball at Sunnyvale Southern for many years. I started off as a custom painter doing vans, boats, motorcycles, classic cars, and custom pinstriping. In 1982, we founded Kuykendall’s with a vision of excellence and from there built our solid reputation. I have always had enormous pride in the quality of our work and our loyal customer base.”
